Slim Jim's Halloween Havoc '13

Just because WCW Halloween Havoc is no more doesn't mean that the Fiesta can't create more Slim Jim sponsored havoc on Halloween 2013!

And in the honor of that one super mega huge 1998 Halloween Havoc, the Fiesta is twice the size this week! Last week I went out of town on Saturday and nobody could post the Fiesta until Monday, so I said "Welp!" and decided to hold off until today with a DOUBLE FIESTA OF DOOM.

TWO WEEKS AGO I asked you which canceled OR ENDED (thanks Andy) TV show you wanted to pay to briefly revive, and you answered "stuff not listed"!

  • Box Office News: Gravity sinks Captain Phillips' boat
  • Trailer Time: Check out new trailers for That Awkward Moment, The Grand Budapest Hotel and more!
  • In Theaters This Week: Carrie and Escape Plan
  • Next Week's Notable DVD Releases: The Conjuring and The Internship

Glenn passes along the following helpful links before taking the weekend off:
  • First, an article about how everyone is watching stuff that is easily accessible on Netflix. Obviously they are satisfying their thirst for instant gratification, eh An-Day?
  • Glenn also gets the scoop on Michael Bay's trip to Hong Kong

  • Crew: Captain Phillips is one big lie
  • Coming soon to cable TV... Netflix?
  • Indiewire lists 7 Hot Actors that are now Not Hot
  • The Marvel Universe is coming to a town near you!
  • Michael Bay causes explosions on the set of Trans4mers. Yes I'm posting this twice! WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT?!?
  • If you like Gweneth Paltrow, you might want to skip this week's issue of Vanity Fair
  • China = $$$$$
  • View the Superman 75th anniversary short
  • Get ready for a film covering the making of a fan film of a film!
  • A viral article for Amazing Spider-Man 2 mentions Smythe, leading to rumors of Spider Slayers...
  • The CW has aired many atrocities without question, such as MVP and Matt Hardy playing basketball, Biker Chuck Palumbo, and Batista cutting a promo on basketballs, but when it comes to teen masturbation, you'd better slow your role!
  • Sigh

    And for this week's news...

  • Box Office News: Gravity continues to lift the competitors' money from its pockets!
  • Trailer Time: Check out new trailers for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Hours and more!
  • In Theaters This Week: The Counselor and Bad Grandpa
  • Next Week's Notable DVD Releases: Monsters University and R.I.P.D.

Next week is Ender's Game, but this week is Glennder's Game:
  • What does a real astronaut think of Gravity?
  • Awkward moments in Star Wars

  • is this the end for Parks and Rec?
  • Apparently the cyber representation of Ellen Page appears nude in some new video game, and Sony wants the images banished from the Internet. Good luck with that, Sony!
  • The writers for Star Wars VII have been announced
  • Get ready for a Hellraiser reboot
  • Two scripts have been written for Independence Day II
  • The Charlton Heston version of Ben Hur is SO 1959!
  • Superman ain't no gay!
  • Ratings, what ratings?
  • People who suffer from or know someone suffering from Alzheimer's are sure to love ABC's new sitcom!

And that brings us to this week's poll.

Are you excited for a Hellraiser reboot?
    Yes
    No
    Great Song, Ozzy Rules
This same lame question was already asked last year... with the exact same choices too!

Burger King Free Satisfryday Film Fiesta Bye Week

The high school football team I cover has a bye week this week and my college team is on the road this weekend, so I have the weekend off! And now, here's a_gladguy who will be taking over the column this week!

a_gladguy: **** you you lazy ***hole. I have to do so much stuff for this website. I don't have time to cover your sorry butt so you can go not write WELPies or whatever. Write your own damn column!

Welp. Guess I'm not taking the week off after all!

Last week I asked you which Disney villain deserved its own live action film, and you answered Gaston, Jafar AND Scar.

  • Box Office News: Gravity pulls the rest of the competition down to Earth
  • Trailer Time: Check out new trailers for American Hustle, Charlie Countryman and more!
  • In Theaters This Week: Captain Phillips, The Fifth Estate, and Machete Kills
  • Next Week's Notable DVD Releases: The Heat and Pacific Rim

Glenn makes a glorious return to submitting links to this lil' ole column:
  • First, some classic movie quotes that have been adapted for modern times
  • And for you documentary lovers, a trailer for a piece that looks at celebrities making the transition into parenthood

  • Tom Hanks discovers just what a box of chocolates gets you. All jokes aside, I hope he gets it under control. I'm scared shitless of it, which is why I've recently changed up my eating habits.
  • Marvel is shutting down a Punisher fan film
  • R8DR AND JOPE BEWARE: Michael Bay wants to make a horror film
  • RIP James Wood's career?
  • Bad news for Canadian Pixar employees
  • When, exactly, did work on the new Star Wars movies begin?
  • Tarantino: Batman is boring
  • Jamie Foxx will be MLK
  • Harrison Ford: So far "no" to Star Wars, "Yes" to another Indiana Jones
  • Remember the movie Limitless? It's getting its own TV spinoff
  • Johnny Carson's lawyer REVEALS ALL!
  • We'll end things with ABC putting emphasis on vaginas (SFW)!

And that brings us to this week's poll.

Which canceled TV show would you pay to briefly revive?
    Breaking Bad
    The Wire
    Firefly
    Seinfeld
    Lost
    Friends

    Fiesta Shutdown

I was planning to finally unveil the hit new column of the month, OcTABerfest but then the Government decided to shut down, so the Fiesta will shut down as well! You see, the Fiesta is funded entirely by the United States Government, so I'm currently being paid to sit at home and do nothing like the rest of Congress!

Last week I asked you if you would watch a Batman TV show that featured no Batman (based off of rumors about the Gotham show). You answered maybe.

  • Box Office News: Meatballs cloud up the competition
  • Trailer Time: Check out new trailers for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Best Man Down and more!
  • In Theaters This Week: Gravity and Runner Runner
  • Next Week's Notable DVD Releases: After Earth, The Hangover Part III and The Purge

  • How
is the Government Shutdown affecting Hollywood
? Non-American bloggies please continue about your daily business
  • On that note, FFF and any other government employees, you can get free popcorn at AMC theaters
  • Your monthly Netflix update
  • Focus Features absorbs Film District
  • In honor of Halloween, here are 15 stars who started off in horror films
  • Disney is prepping live action villain movies
  • The Fantastic Four reboot is being rewritten
  • Some guys made a Wonder Woman fan trailer that has gone viral and apparently is very popular. My thoughts: meh
  • And a casting
    update
    for Avengers 2
  • People are rumored to be in the new Star Wars
  • Get ready for the latest sequel, World
    War What-Comes-After-Z?

  • Speaking of sequels, Ted 2 is coming
  • Bad news for Hillary
    Clinton fans

  • Wilfred has been renewed for a fourth and final season

And that brings us to this week's poll.

    Cruella de Vil
    Ursula
    Scar
    Jafar
    Gaston
    Miley Cyrus
