Friday Film Fiesta

It’s baaack! After what feels like forever, it’s once again time to get down on the Friday Film Fiesta. But enough with the Rebecca Black references, there’s movies to talk about!

• Kicking things off with new trailers, we have The Big Year, The Thing, and The Human Centipede (Full Sequence)
• Box Office News: The Help is dominating everything, becoming the first movie since Inception to hold the top spot for three weeks straight.
• In theaters this week: Warrior, Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star and Contagion
• Next week’s notable DVD releases: X-Men: First Class (9/9), Thor (9/13) and Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-Ray (9/16)

• Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer, so Rotten Tomatoes decided to rank this summer’s movies. How did your favorite film(s) rank?
• Brett Ratner wants Eddie Murphy to host the Oscars.
• Sharing a Netflix account with roommates or have multiple streams going at once? Not anymore.
• Nike is finally making the Marty’s self-fitting shoes from Back to the Future Part II, and the end result is highly disappointing when you read the fine print.
• We have new photos from the set of The Avengers, including a horrible new suit for Captain America, and did ScarJo get breast reduction surgery?
• Who is Juno Temple? She might be playing Selina Kyle’s BFF in The Dark Knight Rises.
• Remember Abigail Breslin? No? Well then you won’t feel awkward when you watch her star in a sex comedy.
The Expendables 2 has new cast members, and then some.
• Straight from the Golden Glennster himself, some outtakes from this week’s Walk: A Pixar animation from 1972, Don Cheadle is Captain Planet (NSFW language), and ridiculous moments in comic book movies. I, for one, enjoyed Emo Pete.
• From the people who brought you a TV show about a kid with a big dick, it’s a reboot of the Beetlejuice franchise.
• Speaking of something that would be better suited for the Walk, here’s an infographic on the future according to film.
• From Jope via Rotten Tomatoes: Greatest Movie Car Chases

And that brings us to this week’s poll. With next week’s release of the Star Wars movies on Blu-Ray, which of the rumored changes to the Original Trilogy has you most upset?

Open to: all, results viewable to: all
Which change upsets you most?
Vader yelling "NO!" in ROTJ
Obi-Wan's Krayt Dragon Yell
